Alvin Holman

Alvin Lee Holman, age 64, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at his home in Smithville, Oklahoma. Alvin was born on July 25, 1953 in Bremerton, Washington, the son of Royce Holman and Kathleen Howard.  Alvin  was a member of the Nanih Chito Old School Baptist Church in Smithville, Oklahoma.  He was an over the road truck driver and enjoyed doing mechanic work. Alvin had a good heart and loved helping people.

Alvin was preceded in death by his father, Royce Holman and a sister, Carol Holman.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Jerri Holman of the home; children Timothy Cook of Cleburne, Texas, Matthew Cook of Alvarado, Texas, Jonathan Cook of Fort Worth, Texas and Amy Loader of Australia; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Lillie Buff of Terrell, Texas, Shirley Holman of Houston, Texas and Jenetta Harris of Deer Park, Texas; a host of other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Watson Cemetery in Watson, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM with Charles Keith Hamrick officiating.
