Bruce Dewayne Mize

Bruce Dewayne Mize, 55, of Broken Bow, passed away, Friday, March 17, 2017 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. Bruce was born, April 4, 1961 in Idabel, Oklahoma, the son of Tommy Mize and Mary Balentine Mize. Bruce and Lecia Benbow Mize were married on June 25, 1982 in Broken Bow. He was employed for the past 7 years with the Tyson Company at the Craig Feed Mill. Bruce loved and enjoyed, hunting, fishing and going on family outings. He was a great cook and was known for his famous brisket. He cherished his time with his family and friends and loved them with all his heart.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Tommy Mize; sister, Lynette Fields and nephew, James Mathew Fields.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife of 35 years, Lecia of the home; his mother, Mary Mize of Broken Bow; a special child, Noah Jacobs of Idabel;  brothers and sister in law, Dale Mize and wife Blanchie and David Mize of Broken Bow; sister, Lisa Davis and husband Carl of Coweta, Oklahoma; special friends, Bobby Wakefield and his Tyson Family; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with the Bro. Harvey Freeman and Bro. James Fields officiating.

Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
