Coleman "Joe" Ward

Coleman "Joe" Ward, age 83 of Watson, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Mena Regional Health System in Mena, Arkansas.  Joe was born in Smithville, Oklahoma on February 14, 1934, the son of Leon Ward and Ruth Brummett Ward. Joe was self employed in the poultry business and as a Weyerhaeuser Contractor. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruby Ward; his parents, Leon and Ruth Ward; one son, Eddie Ward; brother and sister, Leon Ward and Felisha Ryan.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Delia Ward of the home; one son, Gary Ward and wife Leslie of Smithville, Oklahoma; one sister, Marie Dunn and husband Lyndon of Bowie, Texas; numerous grand children, great grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Smithville Cemetery in Smithville, Oklahoma with the Pastor Ed Rogers officiating.
