David Lee Garrett

David Lee Garrett, of Maud, Texas, passed from this life on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. David was born December 17, 1953 in Luxora, Arkansas, the son of William Garrett and Nettie Self Garrett. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing mechanic work and spending time with family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Larry Garrett and three sisters, Carol Winship, Sherry Foreman and Glenda Murray.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife Kim of New Boston, Texas; children, Willie Garrett of New Boston, Texas, Daniel Caldwell of The Colony, Texas, Timothy Caldwell of The Colony, Texas; grand children, Karissa, McKenzie and Landon Caldwell of the The Colony, Texas;  brothers, Jimmy Garrett and wife Sharon of Garvin, Oklahoma, Johnny Garrett and wife Linda of Smithville, Oklahoma, Darrell Garrett and wife Debbie of Hatfield, Arkansas, Danny Garrett and wife Joyce of Idabel, Oklahoma, Jerry Wayne Garrett of Idabel, Oklahoma and Michael Garrett and wife Gabriel of Mena, Arkansas; sisters, Patsy Grace and husband Harvey of Idabel, Oklahoma, Kathy Kennedy and husband Don of Foreman, Arkansas and Dianne Walkup and husband Mark of Valliant, Oklahoma; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
