Frank Cates

Frank Cates, age 79, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. Frank was born February 7, 1938 in Golden, Oklahoma, the son of the late William E. Cates and Eula Sparkman Cates. Frank had lived in the area all of his life and was employed in the logging industry.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eula Cates; daughters, Sandra Cates and Paula Holley; brothers, Lloyd Cates, Henry Cates and Edward Cates; sisters, Mollie Davidson and Vera Cogburn.

His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Gena Reeves and husband Roger of Marion, La., Frank Cates of Sulphur, La., Cammy Holley and husband Dewayne of Marion, La., Sonya Cates of Strong, Ark. and Kirk Cates of Marion, La., brother, Goldie Cates of Oregon; 13 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; special friend, Linda Phillips of Broken Bow, Ok. and special care giver and niece, Goldie Felker of Broken Bow, Ok.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday Afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Watson Memorial Cemetery.
