Harvey Hardy, Jr.

Harvey Hardy Jr., age 60, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home in Wright City, Oklahoma. Harvey was born, January 23, 1957 in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Harvey Hardy Sr. and Mary Wood Hardy. Harvey was employed by the Choctaw Nation  Housing Authority of Oklahoma. He was very dedicated to his job and enjoyed working with his coworkers.  Harvey was an avid OU fan and had graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with two bachelor degrees. Harvey was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church in Pickens, Oklahoma. He truly loved his family and friends and enjoyed his time with them.

Harvey was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtle Noah; children, Jerimy Speck and April Hardy and his parents, Harvey Hardy Sr. and Mary Wood Hardy; brothers, Donald Hardy and James Hardy.

His memory will be forever cherished by his  three children, Bruce Noah and wife Linda of Wright City, Oklahoma, Sarah Trusty and husband David of Wright City, Oklahoma and Joe Hardy and wife Monica of Van Buren, Arkansas; grand children, Bristina, Mason, David, and Adam Noah, Alisha Hardy, Maliyah Trusty, Jarrod Hardy, Jourdan Mendez, Jessica Mendez, Jared Mendez, J.D. Speck;  great grandson, Ezra Mason; sister, Shirley Hardy of Wright City, Oklahoma; Aunt, Jennifer Brokensick of Ringold, Oklahoma; his Housing Authority Family; special nephew, Bradley Hardy and wife, Loretta; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

A Wake Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with the Bro. Ellis Taylor officiating.

Interment will follow at the Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, Oklahoma.
