Jaquetia Charlene Gibson

Jaquetia Charlene Gibson, age 64 of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on January 26, 2018 at the McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. Charlene was born November 30, 1953 in Maywood, California, the daughter of Bob D. Edwards Sr. and Loretta Roath. Charlene loved her family and was always there for anyone that needed her. She was a loving and dedicated mother that  always put her children first.  She was an excellent cook and enjoyed teaching her grandchildren her talents in cooking.  Charlene loved animals and going to the casino.  She enjoyed watching, Dr. Phil and Law and Order. Her loyal, caring and giving, personality will always be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Charlene was preceded in death by her husband Charles Gibson Sr. in 2009; one sister, Delinda Dowling.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her children; Charles Gibson Jr. and wife Lorie and Denise Maine Gibson of Broken Bow, Ok.; grandchildren, Charles Gibson III and wife Tatum, Larry Maine III and wife Cyla , Nicholas Maine, Christopher Gibson, Felicia Maine and Tiffany Maine; great grandchildren, Serinity Gibson, Cali Gibson and Jaxton Maine; brothers, Bob Edward Jr. and David Edwards of California; numerous other relatives and many special friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Hill Independent Assembly Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with the Bro. John Hollinghead officiating.
