Jerry Camp

Jerry Camp, age 79, went home to be with his Lord on August 8, 2017 at his home in Broken Bow. Jerry was born September 21, 1937 in Jackfork, Oklahoma to Rev. W.C. and Winnie Ortlieb Camp. Jerry married the love of his life Ruth Hollingsworth Camp on January 31, 1964 and established Camp Ranch.  He was a faithful and devoted member of the Lukfata Baptist Church. Jerry loved being PaPa Jerry to his 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He enjoyed competing in Ranch Rodeos and was a longtime member of the KACS-PE Cattleman's Association. He loved and enjoyed life and all the great friends he made along the way.  His love for his family and friends will forever be missed by all who knew him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, W.C. and Winnie Camp; brothers, Dick, Sam, Dub and Floyd Camp; sisters; Pearl Giles, Gussie Fite, Agnes Hill, Alice Hess, Ruby Ortlieb, VivaLee Parkinson and Martha Pratt; granddaughter, Tristan Camp.

He leaves to cherish his memory, wife of 53 years, Ruth Camp of the home, sons and daughters in law, Todd Camp and wife LaDonna, Jim Camp and wife Rhonda and Guy Camp and wife Mandy all of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Shelby Coulter and husband Colton, Caleb Camp, Jaden Black, Kayla Cox and husband Jimmy, Kerrie Jenkins and husband Cannon, Randi Camp, Kenzlee , Kennison,  Kendry Camp; great grandchildren, Haden, Hadlie , Ridge Jenkins, Kadynn and Shayne Coulter and  Wrynlee and Isaac Cox; brothers, Paul Camp, Carl Camp and wife Violet  of Broken Bow, James Camp and wife Linda of Smithville, Oklahoma; sisters, Joyce Beam and husband J.E. and Barbara Fogg and husband Ralph of Broken Bow; sister in law, Jean Camp and  brother in law, Dale Pratt of Broken Bow;  a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lukfata Baptist Church with the Bro. Jimmy Westbrook and Bro. Phillip Connor officiating.

Interment will follow at the Watson Memorial Cemetery in the Oak Hill Community, Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
