Johnnie Hill

Johnnie Sue Hill, age 59 of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas. Johnnie was born, February 2, 1959 in Antlers, Oklahoma the daughter of the late, John Cockrill and Nina Sue Henson Cockrill.  Johnnie was a member of the Rufe Baptist Church in Rufe, OK along with being a retired school teacher who always enjoyed teaching her students.  Johnnie could always be found on the river camping, fishing and canoeing.  She loved to sew, cook, read and spend time with her grandchildren.

Johnnie was preceded in death by her parents, John Cockrill and Nina Cockrill.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her children, Chyan Parson and husband Curtis of Foreman, Arkansas, Shala Irvan and husband Vince of Redland, Oklahoma and Seth Hill and wife Amy of Goodwater, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Garrett Anderson, Tessa Hill, Hadley Parson, Bella Hill, Cale Parson, Cohen Irvan and Willow Irvan; sisters, Nancy Doss of Denison, Texas and Cindy Cockrill of Hermann, Missouri; brother, Jeremy Cockrill of Frisco, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rufe Cemetery in Rufe, Oklahoma with the Bro. Ronnie Miller officiating.
