Johnny & Kathryn Rosa Rowan

Johnny and Kathryn Rowan of Wright City, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2017 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Johnny was born February 12, 1949 in Wright City, Oklahoma, the son of the late George Rowan and Georgie Slaughter Rowan. Kathy was born August 7, 1953 in Glover, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late, F.E. Jackson and Effie Westbrook Jackson. Johnny  and Kathy were united in marriage on September 21, 1968. They had worked for the Weyerhaeuser Company in Wright City, with Johnny working there for over 48 years.  Johnny and Kathy were members of the Green Chapel Assembly of God Church in Wright City. They enjoyed playing cards and dominos, gardening, picking muscadines and deer hunting. They loved their children and grandchildren and cherished every moment with them. They will be forever loved, remembered and missed by all who knew them.

They were preceded in death by their parents; one daughter, Shawna Rowan; brothers, Willis Rowan, Larry Jackson, Bill Fines and Michael and Danny Jackson.

Their memory will be forever cherished by their children; Brad Rowan and wife Amy of DeKalb, Texas, Shawn Rowan of Wright City, Ok., and Jessica Williams and husband Woody of Wright City, Ok.; grandchildren, Jon David Rowan and wife Maylee, Wil Rowan and wife Sarah, Gregory Rowan, Addison Rowan, Karson, Kutter and Karoline Rowan, Woodrow Williams and Titus Rowan; brothers, Steve Jackson and wife Tammy of Forest Grove, Ok., Bobby Jackson of Wright City, Ok., Leon Jackson and wife Wanda of Wright City, Ok. and Roy Jackson and wife Joyce of Heavener, Ok.; sisters, Jackie Mussett of Rufe, Ok., Vicky Sullivan and husband Curtis of Wright City, Ok., Darlene Newsome of Forest Grove, Ok. and Phyllis Bray of Stillwater, Ok.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
