Margaret Florence McCain

Margaret Florence McCain, 76 of Broken Bow, passed away, Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the McCurtain Memorial  Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma.  Florence was born, October 2, 1940 in Wister, Oklahoma, the daughter of Albert Lee Campbell and Alice Rebecca Foster Campbell. She had lived in Broken Bow most of her life. Florence and Sidney M. McCain were united in marriage on May 18, 1957 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was baptized on June 27, 1965. Florence was a loving wife, mother and  grandmother. She enjoyed camping, cooking, sewing, reading and painting.  Florence cherished her family and friends. She enjoyed spending her time with them and taking the little ones  on picnics. Florence will be forever loved and her memory will always have a special place in the hearts of all who knew her.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Alice Campbell; son, Jeffrey Bowie McCain; brother Harold Campbell and brother in law, Virgil McGowen.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 59 years, Sidney M. McCain of the home; children, Jackie Suggs and husband Henry of Broken Bow and Florence Lynn Phillips and husband Mike of Angleton, Texas; grandchildren, Sidney A. McCain and wife Leah, Samantha Smith and husband Jon of Broken Bow, Billy Joe Suggs and wife Amanda of Broken Bow and Jessie Moore and Dalton of Diana, Texas; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Roy Lee Campbell and wife Florence of Broken Bow; sister, Jimmie Gaile Richards and husband Lemuel of Broken Bow; sister in law, Patsy McGowen of Broken Bow; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with the Bro. Melvin Gibson officiating.

Interment will follow at the Broken Bow Cemetery.
