Martha Mae Jones

Martha Mae Jones, age 92, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018 at her home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Martha was born, February 6, 1926 in Broken Bow, the daughter of Wilton Wilson and Flora Tonihka Wilson. Martha was a lifetime member of the Kulli Chito United Methodist Church in Broken Bow. Martha enjoyed working with her cows and building and repairing fences on the home place. She was an avid PBR fan and enjoyed attending ball games. Martha loved her family and cherished her time with them.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jones; her parents, Wilton and Flora Wilson; one son, Kenneth Jones; brothers and sisters, George Wilson, Wilton Wilson Jr., Edward Wilson, Herbert James, Laura James and Delores Battiest; grandsons, John Spinks Jr. and Harold Jones; nephew, Bobby Jones; special friend, Marilyn Colbert; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her children; Pat Spinks of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Jane Samuel and husband, Edgel of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Faye Gentry and husband, Benny of DeQueen, Arkansas, Harry Jones of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Billy Jones and wife, Marcella of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Gary Jones and wife, Cheryl of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Poncho Jones and wife, Angela of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren.

A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Kulli Chito United Methodist Church in Broken Bow at 2:00 PM with the Bro. Edgel Samuel and Bro. Tommy McCaig officiating.

Interment will follow at the Kulli Chito Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
