Michael Isaac Parnell

Michael Parnell, age 58 of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. Mike was born, May 18, 1959 in Idabel, Oklahoma, the son of Fred Parnell and Jean Mitchell Parnell. Mike and Kathy McCrary were united in marriage on September 30, 1979. He  was employed with Baker Brothers Construction in Broken Bow until his health failed. Mike enjoyed raising game roosters, hunting, camping and spending time with his family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Jean Parnell; son, Jonathan Parnell; granddaughter, Chloe Moore;  brother, Jerry Parnell and brother in law Roy McCrary.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Kathy of the home; children, Joe Parnell and wife Alisha and Michelle Parnell  all of Broken Bow, Ok.; grandchildren, Tyler Curtis, Josie Moore, Nellyia Parnell and Coty Parnell; brother, Eugene Parnell and wife Rosa of Blanchard, Ok., and sisters, Judy Hambrick of Boyd, Texas, Stacy Ratti of Missouri and Christine Thurman of Fort Worth, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
