Mike Vadnais

Mike Roy Vadnais, 71, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017, at Medical City of Dallas.  Mike was born on March 17, 1946 to the late Joe Vadnais and Ruth Carter Vadnais.  Mike was an educator for 35 years, serving as a coach and principal.  He was a member of Faith Christian Center in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.  Mike was a man of principles who was respected by many.  He loved being around people and touched many lives with his humor, compassion, and work ethics. He was always willing to help, and loved seeing students succeed.  Mike served his country proudly in the National Guard.  Mike was an avid OU fan; he loved to fish, and enjoyed the outdoors. Mike was family focused; teaching his granddaughters how to hold their own, he also enjoyed debating political ideas. He was a man of God, who was loved by many.

            Mike is preceded in death by his parents; Joe and Ruth Vadnais; and one brother, Jerry Vadnais.

            His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Carlette Vadnais of the home; children, Chad Ray Vadnais and wife, Michele of Forney, Texas, and Moni Evan Vadnais, and wife Andrea of Edmond, Oklahoma; brothers, Pat Vadnais and wife, Sue of California, and Jack Vadnais and wife, Thea of California; sisters, Marjorie Holland and husband, Donnie of Poteau, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Skyler, Paige, and Emma; and host of other relatives and friends.

            In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

            A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma at 10:00 AM with Bro. Chuck Darby officiating.

            Interment will follow at A.L. Stephens Cemetery in Clayton, Oklahoma at 3:00 PM.
