Monty Allen Hallford

Monty Allen Hallford of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at his home in Broken Bow. Monty was born November 16, 1966 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of the late, Elvin Hallford and Hildred Fobb Mombi. Monty loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, having cookouts and spending time with his family and friends. Monty was affiliated with the St. Matthew Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow. Monty enjoyed life but most of all he loved and cherished his children and grandchildren. His memory will forever be in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Monty was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin Hallford and Hildred Fobb Mombi.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three children, Tara Hallford, Monty Hallford and wife Brittney and Elijah Hallford all of Broken Bow; grandchildren, Kyson Battiest, Millie Hallford and one grandchild due in March; brother Carl Ray Hallford and wife Sheila of Ardmore, Ok.; sisters, Wahleah Davidson and Natasha Johnson of Broken Bow, Ok.; special  nieces and nephews, Tonya Samuel, Charlie Davidson, Tawanna Hallford, Roberta Crutchfield, Evelyn Hallford and Justin Steers; a host of other relatives and many friends.

A Wake Service will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at  Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Ok.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Ok.

Interment will follow at the St. Matthew Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow, Ok., with the Pastor Arita Battiest officiating.
