Nina Ruth (Jewell) Treat

Nina Ruth Treat, 74, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Alliance Health in Durant, Oklahoma while surrounded by family. Nina was born to Huston Jewel and wife, Katy Barnes on September 19, 1943 in Gowen, Oklahoma. Nina and Wayne Treat were married in the Oak Hill Community on December 30, 1961. She enjoyed sewing, going to the casino, helping others, and spending time with her family. Nina was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

            Nina was preceded in death by her parents; Huston Jewell and mother, Katy, son; Jody Treat, brothers; Jody Jewell, Wilburn Jewell, Henry Jewell, Jack Jewell, Ralph Jewell, and Huston Jewell, and sister; Gracie Triplett Beavers.

            Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 57 years, Wayne Treat, children; Katy Brown and husband, Rick of Idabel, Oklahoma, Tony Treat and wife, Jeannie of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, James Treat of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Ann Palmer and husband, Bob of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Joannie Cochnauer and husband, James of Hugo, Oklahoma, brother; Truman Jewell and wife Carol of Golden, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Kayla Brown of Idabel, Oklahoma, Tara Eskew and husband, Benny of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Amber Smith and husband, Michael of Idabel, Oklahoma, Zachary Jones and wife, Destiney of Idabel, Oklahoma, Brandon, Brycen, Brooklyn, Breona, and Lexie Cochnauer all of Hugo, Oklahoma, great grandchildren; Samanthan and Noah Brown, Kamdyn Brown Tushka all three of Idabel, Oklahoma, Timothy Eskew of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Temperance and Bailey Smith of Idabel, Oklahoma, And Jayce and John Jones of Idabel, Oklahoma, nephew; Ralph Jewell and wife, Kathy of Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

            A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma at 2:00 PM with Bro. Jesse Phipps officiating.

            Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
