Randy Lynn Burns

Randy Burns, age 61, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. Randy was born, October 14, 1956 in Idabel, Oklahoma, the son of the late George C. Burns and Margaret Hamlin Burns. Randy and Susan Packwood Burns were united in marriage on September 3, 2011. Randy was an avid OU and Idabel Football and Basketball fan.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and family gatherings. Randy's big smile and great personality will be forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Burns; grandparents, George A. and Emma Burns, Jack and Viola Hamlin and the mother of Olivia and Halee, Marilyn Burns.

His memory will be forever cherished by his wife Susan of the home, children, Schandi Stacey and fiancée, James Riggin of Spokane Washington, Olivia Whitener and fiancée, Steven Green and Halee Baker and husband Josh of Mena, Arkansas; grandchildren, Elijah Shomo, Christian Shomo, Justice Diffee, Tye Green, Shyanne Green, Candace Green, Keleigh Whitener, Mason Whitener, Arayna Whitener, Wyatt Green and Colton Baker; great granddaughter, Savanna Shomo;  brothers, Gary Burns and wife Robin of Griffin, Georgia, Steve Burns and wife Angie of Burleson, Texas and Roger Burns and wife Heather of Idabel, Oklahoma; sisters, Deb Farley and husband Dennis of Idabel, Oklahoma and Carla Sherwood and husband Mike of Redland, Oklahoma; special family friends, Eddie and Lily Taylor; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with Joe Voyles officiating.

Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery in Idabel, Oklahoma.
