Shawna Rae Rowan

           Shawna Rae Rowan, age 39, past from this life to her heavenly home on Monday, January 15, 2018, at her home in Wright City, Oklahoma, surrounded by her family. Shawna was born May 3, 1978 in DeQueen, Arkansas, the daughter of Johnny Rowan and Kathy Jackson Rowan. Shawna loved the Lord and was a member of the Green Chapel Assembly of God in Wright City. Shawna was a caregiver at Broken Bow Health and Rehab where she was very devoted to her job until she became sick. Shawna loved to swim and spend time with her family. Shawna’s family and friends, especially her children were her life. Her beautiful smile, outgoing personality and caring spirit will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

            Shawna was preceded in death by her grandparents; F. E. and wife, Effie Jackson, and George and wife, Georgie Rowan; and one uncle, Willis Rowan.

            Her memory will be forever cherished by her children; Kutter, Karson, and Karoline of the home; her parent, Johnny and Kathy Rowan; brothers and sister, Shawn Rowan of Wright City, OK, Brad Rowan and wife, Amy of DeKalb, Texas, and Jessica Williams and husband, Woody of Wright City, OK; nieces and nephews, John David and Maylee Rowan, Will and Sara Rowan, Addysen Rowan, and Woodrow Williams; great nephew, Titus Rowan; uncle and aunt, Steve and Tammy Jackson; special friends, Sonya Gantt, Rhoda Jones, Brenda Frazier, Shannon Gibbs, DeShelia Eason, Georgie Boles, and Mitch Bishop; a host of other relatives and many special friends.

            A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Green Chapel Assembly of God in Wright City, Oklahoma.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 10:00 AM at the Green Chapel Assembly of God in Wright City, Oklahoma with Bro. Lyn Gaskey and Bro. Randy Watkins officiating.

            Interment will follow at Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, Oklahoma.
