"AJ" Atwell John Dwayne Scott

“AJ” Atwell John Dwayne Scott age 38, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, June 27, 2019. He was born on January 19, 1981 in Gilmer, Texas the son of Jesse Scott and Nellie Bradford Follis. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding in the woods, and spending time with his children. He married Amanda on April 28, 2009.

AJ was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Scott and Ronald Follis; children Hollie Dawn Scott, and Heavenly Rachelle Scott; and a special friend Roy Van Slyke.

AJ leaves to cherish his memory his wife of ten years Amanda James Scott; his mother, Nellie Follis of Idabel; children, Kaleb Scott, Ashley Scott of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; brothers, Ryan Follis and wife Shyann of Millerton, David Harbour of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Clarence Scott and wife Kim of Minnesota; sisters, Heather Roskowske and husband Daniel of Bonham, Texas, Frances and husband David Stiles of Dumas, Texas, Lori Hartman of Minnesota; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Paul Hartley officiating.

Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.
