Abbe Charles Colbert (Big Charlie) age 42, of Idabel, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, May 31, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Charlie was born in Talihina, Oklahoma on November 22, 1976 to Hildia Maris Colbert. Charlie had many, many good friends and enjoyed playing guitar and music with them. He adored his nieces and nephews and was the defender and protector of his family and if you were family or friend, he would do anything for you. Charlie never met a stranger.

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Jennifer Ludlow Colbert; and mother, Hildia Maris Colbert.

Charlie leaves to cherish his memory brother, James Colbert and wife Rebecca and children, Kayleigh and Michael of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, uncle, James (Kug) Colbert Jr. of Broken Bow, Oklahoma aunt, Judy Guthrie of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, aunt, Kay Mendoza and husband Francisco of Grande Prairie, Texas and numerous cousins, other relatives and close friends.

A wake will be held for family and friends on Monday, June 3,2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at the Bethel Hill Cemetery in Bethel, Oklahoma.
