Aileen Fay (Barker) Walkup

Aileen Fay Walkup, 64, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018, at her home while surrounded by family. Aileen was born on June 3, 1954, in Valliant, Oklahoma to the late John Thomas Barker and Geneva Bernice Parsons Barker. Aileen was a very devoted caregiver who was always taking care of others. She was affiliated with Springs of Life Church, she loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She will be truly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

            Aileen is preceded in death by her husband; Fulton Lewis Walkup, children; Lewis and Curtis Walkup, parents; John Thomas and Geneva Bernice Barker, brothers; Thomas and Cecil Barker, sisters; Maryln Barker and Charlotte Doshier, and granddaughter; Ashlee Hughes.

            She leaves to cherish her memory, children; Anita Walkup of New Boston, Texas, and Chris Walkup of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, brothers; Jack Barker and wife, Jay of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and Lawrence Barker of Blanchard, Oklahoma, sister; Wanda Caldwell and husband, James of Holly Creek, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Briar Hughes of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Dakota Walkup of Noble Oklahoma, Kenley Jones of Idabel, Oklahoma and Clair Mabry of Idabel, Oklahoma, and a host of other relatives and friends.

            The family will be gathering to share memories and stories of Aileen on Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
