Amabel “fish” (Byrum) Tidmore, 59, of Wright City, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma. Amabel was born on October 30, 1958, in Talihina, Oklahoma to the late Tom Byrum and Minerva Collins Byrum. She was married to Frank Tidmore for 37 years, until his death in 2013. Amabel enjoyed sewing, fishing and going to the beach. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan. She was member of the Valliant Eastside Church of Christ. Amabel loved her church and going to revivals. She loved spending time with her family and friends most all.
Amabel was preceded in death by her husband; William Frank Riley Tidmore, children; Sidney Tidmore and Joseph Tidmore, parents; Tom and Minerva Collins Byrum, brother; Sonny Thomas Byrum, and sisters; Suzie Chesney, Marlene Byrum, and Ladascode Crane.
Her memory will be forever cherished by: her daughter; Adeline Youngblood and husband, B. J. of Wright City, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Eden Kimberly Grace Youngblood, and Joseph Riley Youngblood, special companion; Tommy Dale Chesney of the home, sisters; Ruth Treece of Murfreesboro, Arkansas, and Juanita Jane Williams of Talequah, Oklahoma, sisters-in-law; Minnie Lewis of Valliant, Oklahoma, and Emma Wells Tatum of the Oak Hills Community, Oklahoma, all her friends, nurses, doctors and staff at the dialysis center, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Bro. Ted Weiberg and Bro. Randy Watkins officiating.
Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.
