Archie Steel

Archie Steel age 90, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home.

Archie was born on August 31, 1928 in Baker, Arkansas, the son of the late Ozzie Red Steel and Josephyne Higgins Steel. Archie was owner of Steel’s Wrecker Service in Broken Bow, Oklahoma from 1970 until his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Archie was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Steel; his parents, Ozzie Red and Josephyne Steel; brothers Preston and Carson Steel.

His memory will be forever cherished by his son, Steve Steel and wife Jeanie of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Stevie Steel and wife Courtney of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Tyler Hankins of Haworth, Oklahoma, Nikki Troxill and Chad Troxill; great-grandchildren, Lizzie Steel, Treven Armstrong, Taylor Jackson, Ty Arnold and Alex Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma wit Bro. Keith Lyons officiating.

Interment will follow at Glover Cemetery.
