Arlene (Bray) Compton

Arlene (Bray) Compton, 88, of the Honey Grove Community entered her heavenly home on August 26, 2019. She was born April 27, 1931 in Honey Grove Community, the daughter of B.H. and Elsie (Godwin) Bray.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, B.H. and Elsie Bray; husband, A.D. Compton; brothers, Bud Bray and Larry Joe Bray.

Arlene enjoyed reading her Bible, working in her garden and flowers and loved to cook. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ronnie Compton and wife, Connie of Valliant, OK, Vickie Pratt and husband Steve of Honey Grove Community, Tammy Frazier and husband, Mike of Valliant, OK; brothers, Glenn Bray and wife Lynn of Eagletown, OK, Charles Bray and Sue of Honey Grove Community; grandchildren, Stephanee Pratt, Bart Pratt, Kelly Compton, Kaci Roberts and Jason, Brandon Frazier and Ashley, Brawna Chowins and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Trent Pratt, Braileigh Pratt, Hallee Pratt, Raelan Bailey, Jaydan Bailey, Shali Compton, Braydan Roberts, Addyson Frazier, Ashdyn Frazier, Alex Gray, Michael Tuff Chowins  and Knox Chowins; great-great grandchildren, Faithlynn Bailey, Paisleigh Dillishaw, Carson Dillishaw and Ad `Leigh Pratt; a host of family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at First Presbyterian Church in Broken Bow, OK. With Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery, Holly Creek, OK.

Visitation will be held from 3-5 P.M., Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
