Betty Lou (Williams) Bates, 74, of Broken Bow, entered her heavenly home on August 24, 2019.
The daughter of Charles and Syble (Frazier) Williams, Betty was born on December 4, 1944 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the casino. Other than her Savior, her family was her greatest joy. Betty was very fond of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the memories she made with them.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Syble Williams; three brothers, Melvin, Charles Jr. and Marvin Williams; and father of her children, Ted Goodman.
She leaves to cherish the memories, four daughters, Sherrie Anderson and her husband, Doyle, of Mt. Herman, Carla Miller and her husband, Ken, of Broken Bow, Kimberly Rodgers of Broken Bow and Tonya Nichols of Golden; nine grandchildren, Brandon and Mandy Morgan of Wright City, Ashli and Josh Warren of Wylie, TX., Michael Miller of Broken Bow, Kendra and Robert Jones of Broken Bow, James Scott and Molly Petrishen of Texarkana, TX., Ryan Petrishen of Denison, TX., Brittanie and Daniel Moore of Bossier City, LA., Jacob Park of Commerce, TX., Justin and Miranda Voss of Wright City; twelve great grandchildren, and a host of friends.
Chapel services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lyn Gaskey officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the Bunch Singleton Funeral Home.
