Billie Stevenson Obituary

           

            Billie Rae Stevenson, 86, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma left her earthly home on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. Billie was born on November 2, 1931, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma to the late James A. and Nola Henson McClinton.

            Billie was a lifelong resident of Broken Bow. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, where she was a faithful servant until health challenges prevented her from attending services. She enjoyed fellowship with her Sunday school class and the 39ers group. Billie looked forward to Branson trips with the "church ladies" and Saturday afternoon dominoes with friends. She was a cherished mother, adored by her children and grandchildren.

             Billie is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years; Andrew Thomas Stevenson, parents; James and Nola McClinton, brothers; Sonny McClinton, Winfred McClinton, Leroy McClinton, Leon McClinton, and Lavon McClinton, and sisters; Gladys Lowder, Beatrice Pratt, Claudine Moore, and Gearldine McGowen.

             She leaves to cherish her memory, children; Marilyn Walden and husband, Mike of Idabel, Oklahoma, Judy Copeland of Choctaw and son-in-law Terry, and Tommy Stevenson and wife, Lori of Fouke, Arkansas, brother; Delmer McClinton, sister; Bobbie Proctor, grandchildren; Michael Walden, Tony Walden and wife Jenny, Christopher Copeland and wife Julie, Ashlee Copeland King and husband Caleb, Andrew Stevenson, and Lacey Stevenson, great-grandchildren; Brayden Walden, Presley Walden, Brooks King, Kamryn King, and William Copeland, and a host of other relatives and friends.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

            Entombment will follow at Denison Cemetery in Idabel, Oklahoma.
