Bobby Wayne Sr. Baker, age 60 of Wright City, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, November 5, 2018 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Bobby was born on September 18, 1958 in DeQueen, Arkansas, the son of William Baker and Alice Watson Baker. He enjoyed hunting, camping, watching his grandson play sports, spending time with family and drinking coffee and gospel singing. He was a member of Goodland Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His memory will be forever in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; father, William Baker and mother, Alice; brothers, William Baker Jr. and Merle Baker; sisters-in-laws, Nawatha Baker and Myrtle Noah; brother-in-law, Johnny Horner; special nephews Neil Wesley, Robert Noah, Malachi Baker and father-in-law, Lester, and mother-in-law, Adeline Noah.
His memory will be forever cherished by wife Pearline of the home, children; son Bobby Baker Jr. of Wright City, Oklahoma and daughter, Paige Baker of Wright City, Oklahoma, brothers; Billy Baker of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Vincent of Hartshorne, Jarrod of Memphis, Tennessee, Mitchell of Idabel, Oklahoma, Michael and Crissy Baker of Hartshore, Lance of Norman, Oklahoma, and Maurice and Ethel Baker of Antlers, Oklahoma; sisters, Vanessa Baker of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Janet Sam and Matt, of Wilburton, Oklahoma, Hope and Allison Baker of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, DeAnna Pinson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Cassandra Baker of Wright City, Oklahoma and grandchildren Noah, Zos and Dez Baker.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in the chapel.in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2: p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in the chapel with Bro. Eli McHenry and Rosa Baker officiating.
Interment will follow at the Slater Memorial Cemetery.
