Clarence G. Brooks, 71, of the Oak Hill Community, passed away on January 21, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Eagletown, OK, on July 4, 1948, son of C.G. and Mildred Brooks (Sharp).
Clarence and Judy Mullens were united in marriage May 19, 1981 in Paris, TX and shared thirty- eight years together.
Clarence attended school in Broken Bow. He was a building contractor and started building houses in 1973. He enjoyed deer hunting, raising cattle and farming. He was constantly pulling pranks on people and was always available to give his advise and lend a helping hand. He adored his wife, children and grandchildren.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife, Judy Brooks of the home; children Stacey Brooks and wife, Kelly of Broken Bow, OK, Tony McDonald and wife, Donna of Whitewright, TX, Richard Lewis and wife, Laura of Idabel, OK, Eric Lewis of Broken Bow, OK; brothers, Roy Brooks and wife, Janice of Powderly, TX, John Brooks and wife, Tina of Campbell, TX; sister, Zella Brittain and husband, Darrell of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Ledger Brooks, Lyndsey Hastings, Garrett McDonald, Cameron McDonald, Zane McDonald and McHaley Lewis; great-grandchildren, Bayler Brooks and Breelynn Brooks; uncles, Dwight Hadley and wife, Billie of Gladewater, TX, James Hopson and wife Benny of Eagletown, OK; aunt, Virginia Brooks of Broken Bow, OK; a multitude of friends; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, C.G. Brooks and Mildred (Sharp) Wilson, brother, Ricky Ray Brooks, sister, Cynthia Brooks; uncle, Ralph Brooks.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to MDAnderson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will follow.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6-8 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel
