Darlene James

Linda Darlene (Eeds) James of Broken Bow, Oklahoma went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 18, 2019. Darlene was born March 17, 1954 in DeQueen, Arkansas the daughter of Leonard and Dorotha Eeds. She never met a stranger, always enjoyed going to deer camp, she was there to help anyone in need, loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her church and serving the Lord. She will be dearly missed.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie James; and her parents, Leonard and Dorotha Eeds. Darlene leaves to cherish her memory her children, Odell James and wife Haley, LaDonna Rankins and Clint Sheets, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Danell Johnson and husband Timothy of Haworth, Oklahoma and Brad and Dawn Dollar of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; brothers, Donnie Eeds and wife Rosie, and Bobby Eeds of Silver Creek, Oklahoma; aunt, Wanda McDaniel; grandchildren, Jamie James and wife Katie, Angel Minchew and husband Tra of Eagletown, Oklahoma, Sarah Johnson and Tanya Johnson of Haworth, Oklahoma, Chysum and Raylee James, Asia and Bradley Dollar of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Brantlee, Brycen, Colter, Dakota, Parker and Tuff: brother-in-law, Leonard James and a host of other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, special church going buddy and best friend Brantlee, special friends David and Vian Singleton and all her family and friends at Green Chapel Assembly of God.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday February 23, 2019 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Green Chapel Assembly of God in Wright City, Oklahoma with Bro. Lyn Gaskey, Bro. Jimmy Jeter and Bro. Lewis Prewitt officiating.

Interment will follow at the Watson Memorial Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
