Ella Q. Reed age 83, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma received her wings from her Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Ella was born on July 26, 1935 in Petersburg, Texas the daughter of Howard and Lytle Eaves. Ella was a beautician after high school and worked alongside her mother, Lytle in the family beauty shop. Ella loved gardening, cooking and was very talented doing crafts and sewing. She loved baking and selling her cookies at one time she was known as “The Cookie Lady”. She had booths at various craft shows and Canton Trade Days for several years.
Ella is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Reed; son, Craig Reed; parents, Howard and Lytle Eaves; brother, Donald Eaves and grandchildren, Erin Michelle Tidmore, Jacob Scott Wiley and Lynzee Blalock.
Ella leaves to cherish her memory her children, Barbara Wiley and husband Jeff, Linda Dollar and husband Keith, Celia Tidmore and husband Bruce of Amarillo, Texas, Terri Bedford and husband Jay of Royce City, Texas, Dana Logan and husband Richard, Jana Hughes and husband Andy of Idabel, Oklahoma, Danny Reed and wife Karen of Idabel, Oklahoma,; sister, Karen Head and sister-in-law, Sharon Eaves; twenty-eight grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the 1st Baptist Church in Idabel, Oklahoma with Bro, Andy Bowman officiating.
Interment will follow at the Canfield Cemetery in Idabel, Oklahoma.
