Everette Medders

Everette Wilson Medders 84 years old, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 6, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Everette was born October 27, 1934 to Bill and Vera Grace (Bell) Medders. Everette enjoyed life to the fullest, he loved to go to Colorado Elk hunting, loved to fish, hunt and work his cattle. He worked with his horses and most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Everette and Martha Schoolcraft were married March 28, 1992 in Broken Bow, OK. He was an elder at Faith Christian Center Church and loved his church family. He was a 32nd degree Mason.

Everette was preceded in death by his first wife, JoAnn Medders; his parents, Bill and Vera Grace Medders; brother, Larry Medders; sister, Helen Bryant; great-grandson, Montana Knight.

His memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of 27 years, Martha of the home; his children, Dayne Medders and wife Deanna of Battiest, OK. David Schoolcraft and wife Rhonda of Golden,OK; Jason Schoolcraft and wife Pam of Franklin, KY, Genia Coffey and  husband, Jon of Durant, OK, Deann Ray and husband, Les of Franklin, KY, Sharla Homer and husband, John of McAlester, OK, Debra Harris of Broken Bow, OK, Staci Regan and husband Jason of McAlester, OK, Rebecca Morgan and husband, David of Paris, TX; brothers, John Medders and Delbert Medders of Buffalo Valley, OK; grandchildren, Ryan Coffey and Stephanie of Durant, OK, Kinsey Coffey of Durant, OK., Alyssa Acker and husband, AJ of Colgate, OK, Evan Schoolcraft and wife, Sharon of Denton, TX., Zach Schoolcraft and wife, Alex of Aubry, TX., Leigh Montgomery and husband Johnny of Red Oak, OK, Laci Medders of Poteau, OK, Will Medders and wife Tiffany of Lawton, OK, Tamma Fredrick and husband Jeremy of Poteau, OK, Blake Medders of Battiest, OK, Miranda Medders of Broken Bow, OK, Amanda Waugh of Broken Bow, OK,  Bradley Van Slyke of Franklin, KY, Joshua VanSlyke of Abbeyville, KY, Harley Ray and wife Tiffany of Franklin, KY, Maggie Ray of Franklin, KY, Trent Homer and wife Bre of McAlester,OK, Maggie Meadows and husband Troy of McAlester, OK, Brett Homer of McAlester,OK, Tana Schoolcraft and son Pace Schoolcraft of Broken Bow, OK, Michael Schoolcraft of Broken Bow, OK, Rhett Regan and Reese Regan of McAlester, OK, Tony Huff and wife Megan of Ardmore, OK., Carrie Huff of Broken Bow and fiance’ Peyton Talley; and twenty nine great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, OK.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Faith Christian Center Church with Bro. Chuck Darby officiating.

Interment will follow at Canfield Cemetery in Idabel, OK.
