Fernando Nava

Fernando Nava, age 78, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2018 at his home in Holly Creek, Oklahoma. Fernando was born May 30, 1939 in Penon Blanco Durango, Mexico, the son of Pedro Nava and Fermina Valenzuela. Fernando was a agriculture farmer in Mexico. He had lived in Holly Creek for the past 20 years.  Fernando enjoyed riding his bike and spending time with family and friends.

Fernando was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen Yanez; parents, Pedro Nava and Fermina Valenzuela; brothers, Thomas Nava, Bruno Nava and Francisco Nava.

His memory will be forever cherished by his children, Maria Valdez, Sara Nava, Jesus Yanez all of Broken Bow, Ok., Monica Nava of Heavener, Ok. and Juanita Yanez of Idabel, Ok.; grandchildren, Jorge Valdez, Ivan Valdez, , Daniel Valdez, Fransico Valdez, Patricia Valdez, Marcos Nava, Luis Fernando Sandoval, Dayny Sandoval, Diana Sandoval, Neida Sandoval, Carmen Luna, Santiago Luna, Laura Luna, Jessica Yanez, Adela Melissa Yanez, Jesus Antonio Yanez, Daisy Yanez, Pepe Nunez, Maricela Nunez, Jesus Yanez and Jairro Yanez; sister, Micaela Nava;  nephews, Pedro Nava and Thomas Nava; a host of other relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Idabel, Oklahoma,

A Funeral Mass Service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Interment will follow at the Holly Creek Cemetery in Holly Creek, Oklahoma.
