Gaynell Maree Cooper

Gaynell Maree Cooper of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at the age of 61. She was born January 23, 1958 in Alexandria, LA to Bobbie Melancon. She was adopted by Robert and Thelma Nichols.

Gaynell and Jeffery Cooper were united in marriage July 22, 1981 and spent thirty-eight years together before her passing. Gaynell was an excellent customer service employee for years. She enjoyed being a homemaker, working in her yard, tending to her plants, and fishing. Gaynell enjoyed listening to Christian music, playing games, watching movies, cooking, crafting and sewing. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved animals and her dog, Precious, was dear to her heart.

Gaynell was preceded in passing by her parents and two brothers, Gayle Nichols and Eugene Nichols.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffery Cooper of the home; her children, Elisha Holt of North Dakota, Katrina Cooper of Idabel, OK; and Candace Cooper of Idaho; brother, Gary Nichols of Colorado; grandchildren, Ashley Sauceman, Dayne Sauceman, Kalysta Fortune, Trinity Fortune, Andrew Woodroof and Joy Woodroof; great-grandchildren, Prestyn Williston, Avah Cross and Russian Williston; best friend, Amanda Foster and host of other friends.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
