Gladys Watkins

Gladys Mae Banks Watkins, age 90, a homemaker, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019 after a sudden illness.

Gladys was preceded in death by her mother, Bessie Banks; her father, Luther Banks; brothers, Durwood Banks and Earl Banks; and her sister, Evelyn Hartsell.

Gladys leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Watkins; daughters, Charlotte Jones and Karen Reed; brother, Jerry Banks; granddaughters, Dawn Turk, Kristi Bailey, Nicole Gray, and Whitney Bruner; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 11:00 A.M.at the First Baptist Church, 2 S.E. Jefferson St in Idabel, Oklahoma with Bro. Andy Bowman officiating.

Interment will follow at Daniels Cemetery in Wicks, Arkansas.
