Helen Frances (Jordan) Stafford

           Helen Frances Stafford, 90, of Idabel, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018 at McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel, Oklahoma surrounded by her family. Helen was born on October 26, 1927 in Garvin, Oklahoma to the late Grover Jordan and Beulah Schultze Jordan. Helen loved to sing, enjoyed cooking, and spending time with her family. Helen taught many Vacation Bible School Teachers over the years and was a member of the Garvin Baptist Church for many years.

            Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Stafford, Sr.; parents, Grover Jordan and Beulah Schultze Jordan, two sons; James (Jimmy) Ray Stafford, Jr., and Donny Lynn Stafford, two brothers; Hollis Jordan and Harold Jordan, aunt; Maggie (Auntie) Newman, and three sons-in-law; Jerry Wells, David Carr, and Tom Milam.

            She leaves to cherish her memory children; Billie Jean Carr of Idabel, Oklahoma, Bobbie Milam of Coweta, Oklahoma, Tommie Kay Moseley and husband, Larry of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Danny Stafford and wife, Diane of Valliant, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Jerry and Betty Wells of Idabel, Oklahoma, Jack Carr and Jane Henderson of Henderson, Nevada, Jami Milam of Arad, Israel, Nathaniel Milam of Coweta, Oklahoma, Mara Lynch of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Chris and Kortney Stafford of Guthery, Oklahoma, Daniel Stafford of Valliant, Oklahoma, Jeffery and Charity Stafford of Wright City, Oklahoma, Jimmy Don Stafford of Golden, Oklahoma, Joshua Stafford and wife, Masako of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cheryl Stafford of Wright City, Oklahoma, Carol Whitten Virgin of Holly Creek, Oklahoma and James Powell of Wright City, Oklahoma, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, Daughter-in-law; Nelda Stafford and a first cousin, Ted Stafford.

            A visitation for family and friend will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Garvin Baptist Church in Garvin, Oklahoma with Bro. Cole Bryant officiating.

            Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in the Forest Grove Community, Oklahoma.
