Dearest Sy, loved you like a brother. Will never forget the happiness you brought to Reed when you visited and hunted/fished or just hung out. I will miss your visits and frequent calls to check on me just to make sure I was o k or to know if I needed anything or sometimes just to talk. As Reed would say, I will meet you on the other side, bro. RIP

Not many times in one's life does he find a true friend. The old mountain men had a saying for those special friends that would do anything necessary to help a friend when in need, they would say; "he will do to ride the river with".
Well, I can tell you, Henry Southgate Williams would definitely; "do to ride the river with"...
Rest In Peace my friend, may God hold you in his loving arms for eternity...

Hank, You will ALWAYS live - in our memories. You will never, ever be forgotten by the Adkins family. You were truly an amazing friend and mentor to my brother, and a friend, menotor and especially Grandpa to my nephew. They love(ed) You with implicit loyalty and devotion. I was honored to know You when I lived in Louisiana and I will be forever grateful for all of the love, laughter, good times, and hunting/fishing adventures You shared with my brother and his son/my nephew. We know God knows all, sees all, and in His justice, mercy and love, He is embracing You, smoothing the worry and sadness from Your face. Fly High, Brother.
