Jacie Lee Franklin “J.L.” passed from this life to his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the VA Nursing Facility in Talihina, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1922 in Sobol, Oklahoma to Rueben Elbert and Sallie May Franklin. Jacie Lee enjoyed fishing hunting, joy riding in the country, car races, loved to work and never met a stranger. He was of the Baptist faith. His memory will be forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Jacie was preceded in death by his parents, Rueben and Sallie May (McDonald) Franklin; brothers, Eugene, Jake, and JD Franklin; sisters, Dollie Mayfield, Thelma Massey, and Ollie Oehler.
His memory will be forever cherished by his nephew, Delmer Mayfield and wife Helen of Sun City West, Arizona; his best friends, Teresa, Larry and Breanna Peace of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Travis, J.C., Monica and Mia Yarbrough of Ore City, Texas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 1:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma in the chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma in the chapel with Bro. Clint Bray officiating.
Interment will follow at the Sweet Home Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma
