James LeeWayne Carper, Jr.

            James “J. J.” LeeWayne Carper, Jr., 40, of Wright City, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018. J.J. was born in DeQueen, Arkansas on June 22, 1978 to James and Sandra Lee Carper. J.J. enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and spending time with his family. He loved his children more than anything. He will be missed by all those that knew him.

            J.J. was preceded in death by his grandfathers; James T. Carper and Ray Corgill, and by his grandmother; Opal Corgill.

            He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Alison Blayne Carper of Wright City, Oklahoma, James LeeWayne Carper, III of Wright City, Oklahoma, Taylor Hunter Carper of Wright City, Oklahoma, Hayden Lake Carper of Horn Lake, Mississippi, step-son; Austin Gene Greaves of Horn Lake, Mississippi, and Bryce Craft of Horn Lake, Mississippi, brother; Eddie Lee Carper and wife, Becky of Valliant, Significant other; Angela Gay Bell, and a host of other relatives and friends.

            A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

            A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 1:00 PM at Green Chapel Assembly of God in Wright City, Oklahoma.

            Interment will follow at Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City, Oklahoma.
