Jeannie (Horton) Dowell

Jeannie Horton Dowell age 53, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, June 28, 2019. Jeannie was born on May 4, 1966 in Idabel, Oklahoma the daughter of Johnny Horton and Pauline Horton. She loved to fish, loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She graduated from Broken Bow High School with the class of 1984.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Pauline Horton; grandparents Frank and Lillie Stinnett; brother, Buddy Shields; son-in-law, Shawn Dowell and Michael Liles.

Jeannie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, George Dowell; children, Jessica Liles of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Felicia Dowell of Jefferson, Texas; sister Brenda Tucker of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Shirley Womack and husband Jerry of Garvin, Oklahoma, Anita Knox and husband Mike of Mt Herman, Oklahoma, Kathy German and husband Sam of Garvin, Oklahoma, Trina White and husband Sam of Swink, Oklahoma; brother, Johnny Shields and wife Jo of New Boston, Texas; grandchildren, Justin Mathews of Idabel, Oklahoma, Drake Dowell, Skyla Dowell of Jefferson, Texas, and Michael Liles, Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with Bro. Pete Wilson officiating.
