Jonathan Lacy Obituary

Jonathan Blake Lacy, 33, of Little River Ranch, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at his home surrounded by family. Jonathan was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 17, 1984 to Jerry and Cheryl Battles Lacy. Jonathan married the love of his life, Mickey Delaney, on August 2, 2009. Jonathan loved to be around people and to go on vacation to the beach with family. He loved his career as a lineman, after his career as a lineman ended he worked at a boat repair shop, which he loved. He always enjoyed helping his community and friends, he was very reliable at anything he did. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting, he always wanted to do his best and be productive. He loved coaching Paige’s softball team and was looking forward to coaching Meredith’s team as well. He was a wonderful son who enjoyed taking care of his parents and making sure they had whatever they needed. He was a Christian man who loved the Lord; and was self-driven and motivated; who loved spending time with his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 8 years, Mickey Jean Lacy of the home, children; Paige, Meredith, and Merrick Lacy, parents, Jerry Lacy and wife, Cheryl of Little River Ranch, Oklahoma, sisters; Kimberly Lacy of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Monica Bolinof Malone, Florida, brother; Michael Lacy wife, Tracy of Gadsden, Alabama, , mother and father-in-law; Kathy and James Delaney of Lexington, Oklahoma, brothers-in-law, Mike Delaney and wife, Lan of Ault, Colorado, and James Delaney and wife, Heidi of Norman, Oklahoma, uncle; Garvis Battles and wife, Pam, aunts; Daryl Montgomery, Candance McGwier and husband, Bryan, Mary Hodge, Debbie Nix and husband, Ray, and cousins; Jessica Williams, Tony Williams, Taylor Battles, Jill Battles Harris, Logan Montgomery, Landon Montgomery, Cody O’Bryant, Christopher O’Bryant, Clate McGwier, Reid McGwier, Bill Hardin, Terry Lacy, Dana Lacy, James Robert Axton, David Axton, Paula Axton, Ramona Young, Ronda Davis, and Randy Hardaway, and host of other family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Battiest School Gymnasium in Battiest, Oklahoma with Bro David Hardin and Brad Phillips officiating.

Interment will follow at the Battiest Cemetery in Battiest, Oklahoma.

Jonathan loved azaleas and perennials, the family request that these types of flowers be sent to the visitation and service so that they can be planted in Jonathan’s memory by the family.
