Kenneth Wayne Warren passed away November 17, 2018, at the Paris Regional Medical Center. He was born October 27, 1947, in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Kenneth graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1965 and enlisted in the United States Army in 1966. He served in Viet Nam with the 173rd Airborne Brigade and was awarded the Bronze Service Star and the Purple Heart for wounds received, resulting in a year and a half hospitalization and a lifetime of pain. After discharge from the Army, he worked several years for Safeway stores in the Dallas area, before entering the major construction field and traveling all over the United States. He returned to McCurtain County in 1988, continuing to work in construction and teaching himself computer networking and repair. He made many friends while repairing computers and saving lost data. Kenneth took great pride in helping others. He was a dedicated member of the First United Methodist Church in Broken Bow.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother and step-father; Louise and Ed Willis, father; David Warren, and brother; Charles Warren.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife; Linda Warren of the home, daughter; Tracy Warren of Midland, Texas, son; Rob Tracy of Grove City, Ohio, sister; Pat Bone, brothers; Eugene Willis and wife, Liz, Forrest Willis and wife, Lisa, grandchildren; Allyson and Sierra Tracy of Grove City, Ohio, aunt and uncle; Lucille and Neal Spoon all of Broken Bow, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2018, with Pastor Michael Dye officiating.
