Linda Coleman Obituary

Linda Gail Gilbert Coleman, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, passed away on Sunday, January 28,2018 at the Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. She was born on August 28, 1943, in Idabel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jake and Louise Singleton Gilbert. She attended Broken Bow High School and graduated in the class of 1962. She married Jerrel Coleman in 1961 and together they had one daughter, Lisa Rena Coleman Fuentes. Linda and Jerrel moved to Wichita, Kansas where she graduated from the Cosmetology Academy and held Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas license for Cosmetology. She owned and operated her own beauty shop in Lancaster, Texas. Linda and Jerrel moved back to Broken Bow in 1987. Linda was an excellent care giver, enjoyed shopping and doing ceramics. She loved and cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Louise Gilbert; one daughter, Lisa Fuentes; one brother, Phillip Gilbert; and grandson, Jason Wayne Fuller.

Linda leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Jerrel Coleman of the home; one sister and brother-in-law, Paul and Glenda Sandridge Sealy of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Jeremy Fuller and wife, Jennifer of Idabel, Oklahoma; Stephen Fuentes of Texas, great grandchildren; Chelsea Fuller of Idabel, Oklahoma, Hunter Fuller of Wright City, Oklahoma, Madalle Fuentes, and Jay Fuller of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law, Esta Callaham, Lanell Absher, Veleta Ehrlich, Geneva and Doris Coleman; brothers-in-law, James, Wilburn, Homer, and Monroe Coleman; son-in-law, Daniel Fuentes of Rockwall, Texas and a very special friend, Coeta Flynn; a host of other relatives and many special friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow with Dr. Leland Burkett Officiating.

Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
