Mary LaVenie Eason

Mary LaVenie Eason, of Broken Bow, OK passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the age of 94. She was born March 21,1925 in Wickes, AR to George and Weacie Eason (Ruth).

Mary enjoyed quilting, reading and spending time with her family. She was member of the Broken Bow Church of God where she loved serving the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Weacie Eason; sisters, Laverne Toliver, Alcie Altom, Myrtle Gregory and Doris Helms; brothers, Alvin and Carl Eason.

Mary leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Carla Herd and husband, Ronald of Broken Bow, OK; brother, Wayne Eason and wife, Maurine of Tulsa, OK, Wendall Eason of Wright City, OK; sisters, Marie Stout and husband, Don of Garvin, OK, Inez Claborn of Broken Bow, OK, Dollie Cunningham and husband, Charles of Golden, OK; grandchildren, Dale Herd, Crystal Herd, Ashley Songer and husband, Dusty, Landon Herd, Ethan Herd ; great-grand son, Chrestian Herd; a wealth of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel, Broken Bow, OK. Interment will follow at Watson Memorial Cemetery, Oak Hill Community.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
