Melinda Lea (Simons) Runyon

Melinda Lea Runyon age 63, of Eagletown, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, August 4, 2019 in Idabel, Oklahoma. Melinda was born March 26, 1956 in Dumas, Texas the daughter of Stanley Simons and Amy Burney Hill. Melinda enjoyed bowling, fishing, WWE-wrestling, riding side by sides and loved to dance and spend time with her family and friends.

Melinda was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Simons; stepfather, Jackie Hill; sister, Teresa Williams.

Melinda leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Amy Hill; children, Melissa Murray of Nashville, Arkansas; step-brothers, Jackie Hill and David Hill of Eagletown, Ok; sisters, Susie Thompson of Amarillo, Texas, Paula Stovall of Eagletown, Oklahoma and Daphne Lee of Eagletown, Ok; grandchildren, Devin Murray, J.D. Murray of DeQueen, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Ok.

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eagletown Cemetery in Eagletown, Oklahoma with Bro. Jimmy Smalling officiating.
