Melody Danielle Angel

Melody Danielle Angel, age 34, passed away on  Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Melody was born on November 19, 1982 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dee Angel and Tammy Maras. Melody had lived in Broken Bow most of her life. She attended Broken Bow High School and was honored as Miss Broken Bow in 1998. Melody enjoyed music and was recognized in  many competitions as an outstanding vocalist. She had a deep love for animals, enjoyed watching and feeding her birds and always enjoyed going swimming.  Melody loved and cherished her time with her family, especially her daughter, Mykayla. Her beautiful smile and her love for her family and friends will forever be in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Melody was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delbert and Esther Angel and Helen Maras.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Mykayla Jade Angel of the home; her parents, Dee Angel of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Tammy Maras of Norman, Oklahoma; one brother, Derek Angel of Muskogee, Oklahoma ; one sister and brother in law, Tiffany Bragg and husband Shane of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; aunt and uncle, Mary and Royce Tidwell of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; special cousin, Jeff Tidwell; special companion, Alan Vanderslice of Hochatown, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews, Carly, Coby, Dakota, Devin and Layla; numerous other relatives, and many special friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Victory Life Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma with the Dr. Doug Deramus officiting.

Interment will follow at the Hochatown Cemetery in Hochatown, Oklahoma.
