Misty Ann (Barrick) Blackwell

Misty Ann Blackwell age 44, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, August 17, 2019. Misty was born on December 30, 1974 in DeQueen, Arkansas the daughter of Martin and Shirley Barrick. Misty liked floating the river, fishing, was an OU fan, and had attended Broken Bow Public Schools. She was a great friend, wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister. Misty’s family was very important to her especially her grandchildren. Misty and Max were married on February 9, 1994 in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Misty was preceded in death by her father, Martin Barrick; maternal-grandparents, Opal and Howard Allen, paternal grandparents, Mamie and Alex Barrick; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maxine Eeds and Jackie Blackwell; grandfather-in-law, George Eeds and several aunts and uncles.

Misty leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 25 years, Max of the home;  mother, Shirley Barrick;  children, Kanyon Blackwell and Leslie of Valliant, Oklahoma, Kain Blackwell of Millerton, Oklahoma; brothers, Martin Barrick and wife Crystal, Randy Barrick, David Barrick all of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; sister, Shannon Barrick of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Michael Blackwell of Ada, Oklahoma, Steve Tucker and Jackie LaDae of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Peggy Parker of Broken Bow and Tammy Burris of Ada, Oklahoma; grandsons, Asher Jace Blackwell and Westin Case “Monkey” Blackwell, Aunt Bobbie and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. at Bunch -Singleton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leon Hughes officiating.

Interment will follow at Holly Creek Cemetery.
