Perry Gayler Obituary

Perry Dean “Hawkman” Gayler age 72, of Paris, Texas passed from this life on Friday, August 30, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Perry was born on May 18, 1947 in Bluff, Oklahoma to Willaim and Orillia Gayler. Perry proudly served his country in the US Airforce. Perry married Beverly Duncan on June 18, 1966. He was a USDA Inspector for 27 years. He loved motorcycles, music, all animals especially horses, he was a talented artist and enjoyed going to church and was member of Blossom Church of God. Perry especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren, family and friends. Perry was a very friendly, kind man and always had a smile on his face and ready to lend a helping hand.

Perry was preceded in death by his parents, William and Orillia Gayler; a daughter Brenda; brother, Terry Gayler; sister, Connie Wyrick.

Perry leaves to cherish his memory his wife for 53 years, Beverly Gayler; children, Robin Martin and husband Rod of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, Misty Tucker and husband Mark of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Terri Walker and husband Brad of Paris, Texas; grandchildren, Brittney Alexandris and husband Dimitri, Zackkary Briggs and wife Kristin, Raina Tucker and fianace’ Kaleb Routh, Brooklyn Tucker, David Webster (Rooster), Orillia Gayler, Sabella Walker, Bobby Spiva, Blake Steinruck; great grandchildren, Zayden Briggs, Christopher Alexandris, Peri Jolene Alexandris, Tanor Spiva; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 2, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Blossom Church of God in Blossom, Texas with Bro. Melvin Baker officiating.

Interment will follow at the Spencerville Cemetery in Spencerville, Oklahoma
