Robert "Bobby" Tucker

It’s with great sadness we lost our Jimmie Tucker Trucking legend, Robert “Bobby” Tucker on Monday, December 2, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born December 12,1949 in DeQueen, AR to James A. and Marjorie Tucker (Johnson).

Bobby and Sharon (Cotney) were united in marriage September 10, 1971 and shared forty-eight years before his passing. He and Sharon were members of the First Baptist Church in Broken Bow.

Bobby was the President of Jimmie Tucker Trucking Co. Trucking has always been a large part of his life. No load too big or too small. He also enjoyed flying his plane and traveling with his wife in their motor home. He always said he could operate anything with a wheel. Bobby was an Avid OU football fan, he lived and breathed OU football. Most of all he cherished spending time with his family. Challenged with many obstacles in his life he was always a problem solver and enjoyed helping people.

He was preceded in death by his father, James “Jimmy” Tucker; his sister, Donna June Tucker.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; mother, Marjorie Tucker of Broken Bow, OK; sons, Chad Alan Tucker of Broken Bow, OK, Mark Daren Tucker and wife, Misty of Ardmore, OK; Gregory Robert Tucker and wife, Chris of Broken Bow, OK; brother, Jimmy Wade Tucker and wife, Martha of Broken Bow, OK; grandchildren, Jake Tucker and wife, Kayla, Josh Tucker, Ledgyn Tucker, Ivy Tucker, Brittney Alexandris  and husband, Dimitri, Raina Routh and husband, Kaleb, Brooklyn Tucker, Dawson Jordon, Dillon Jordan and Drew Jordan; great-grandchildren, Talon Tucker, Lyric Tucker, Christopher Alexandris and Peri Jolene Alexandris.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2019 at First Assembly of God Church, Broken Bow, OK. Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow with Dr. Doug Deramus and Pastor Pete Wilson officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel.
