Ronald Brock, 72, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at his home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. He was born on July 29, 1946 in Lufkin, Texas to Bertis C. Brock and Dolly Estelle Brock. He moved with his family to Texarkana, Arkansas at the age of eight, and graduated from Arkansas High School in 1964, after graduation he joined the United States Navy in 1965.
Prior to a sudden medical retirement in 1986, he was co-owner, with wife Martha, of businesses in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas. He had a love of fishing, reading, and was an Arkansas Razorback and Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved attending church and was a member of the Broken Bow United Methodist Church.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father; Bertis Brock.
His memory will be forever cherished by his wife Martha Brock of the home, sons; Douglas Brock and wife, Karen of Howe, Oklahoma, Ronald Brock II and wife, Sharri of Texarkana, Arkansas, daughter; Lori Malone and husband, Wade of Texarkana, Texas, mother; Estelle Brock of Texarkana, Arkansas, sisters; Beverly Brock of Texarkana, Arkansas, and Pam and husband, Eddie of Oakridge, North Carolina, mother-in-law; Julia Carter, niece; Emily and husband, Levi of Palm Desert, California, brother and sister-in-law; Donald and Barbara Carter of Oleta, Oklahoma, grandsons; Dalton Brock, Devin Brock, and Aaron Malone, granddaughter; Rachel Brock, and special friend and caregiver; Johnnie Kaye Woods.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Broken Bow United Methodist Church on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Michael Dye officiating.
Interment will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Broken Bow, Oklahoma
