Ronald Ray Pennon

Ronald Ray Pennon age 64, of Eagletown, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his home. He was born November 1, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma the son of  Jessie B. Lewis and Snowie Lewis and Maxine Pennon.  Ronald graduated from Eagletown High School in 1972 where he was an outstanding basketball player. Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Ronald accepted Christ at an early age at St. Matthew Baptist Church in Eagletown.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Snowie Lewis, Maxine Pennon; son, Ronald Ray Pennon Jr. “R.J.”; brothers, David Lewis and Frankie Lewis; sisters, Shirley Pennon and Neecie Pennon.

Ronald leaves to cherish his memory his children, Belicia Lewis and husband Marcus of Dallas, Texas, LaRhonda Preston and husband Kyle of Moore, Oklahoma, Derrick Cherry of Idabel, Oklahoma, Cedric Cherry of Durant, Oklahoma, LaKrisha Pennon of Fayetteville, North Carolina; brothers, Donald Ray Pennon and Ricky Lewis of Eagletown, Oklahoma, Billy Lewis of Alaska; sisters, Patricia Meadlock and husband Lloyd of Lawton, Oklahoma, Jessalyne Dedner of Edmond, Oklahoma, Sandra Grandy and husband Darryl of Taft, Oklahoma, Sharon Thierry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Shelia Shaw of Lawton, Oklahoma, ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

A wake service will be held at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Eagletown Gym on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Dr. O.D. Woods officiating.
